What it is

Contrast therapy is the reason most people walk through our door. You move between the infrared sauna and the cold plunge in timed rounds, and the two extremes do something neither does alone. The cold plunge is part of this experience — at launch it is not booked separately, so contrast therapy is how you use it.

Heat opens the periphery. Cold closes it. Moving intentionally between heat and cold supports circulation and challenges your nervous system to move from activation back toward calm. Over time, that intentional return becomes part of the practice.

The Session

What the session is like.

  1. Settle

You start in the sauna. Fifteen minutes, low light, nothing asked of you. Most of the session is spent letting your shoulders come down.

  2. Cycle

Three rounds of heat and cold, with a guided breath at each transition. Cold exposure is kept short and you set the pace. Nobody is going to talk you into a fourth round.

  3. Land

The last few minutes are the point. You rest warm and still while your system finds its own baseline again.

  4. Or bring someone

Contrast therapy can be booked Together for two guests you have chosen to come in with, sharing the same room and the same rounds. We never put strangers in a room together.
